About Me
Dr Payvand Menhadji
BDS (Hons) BSc (Hons) MFDS RCS (Ed) Pg Cert Dent Ed.
I am in my final year of the four-year specialty training pathway at King’s College University, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, where I spend three days a week treating complex periodontal cases—both non-surgically and surgically—referred by dentists across London. I am expected to be admitted onto the GDC Specialist Register for Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in 2025.

In addition to my work at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, I practice at various private locations in central and west London, focusing on surgical periodontics and implant dentistry. My expertise includes:

-
Non-surgical periodontal therapy
-
Mucogingival surgeries (gum grafting)
-
Periodontal regeneration
-
Resective surgery for periodontal disease
-
Aesthetic and functional crown lengthening procedures
-
Treatment of peri-implantitis and implant placement
-
Oral surgery procedures

My commitment to advancing the field of periodontology is demonstrated through my involvement in periodontal research, publications in esteemed scientific journals, and presentations at national and international conferences.

I am part of the Next Generation Committee for the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and previously held the position of Mono-Speciality Representative for the Early Careers Group of the British Society of Periodontology (BSP). In these roles, I work to ensure that the latest developments in periodontics and implant dentistry are shared with both professionals and patients.
